Global Citizens 8 - Danny Chong

A huge warm welcome to our eighth Global Citizen, Danny Chong.

Danny is 25 from New York (born and raised) and works as a pharmacist and entrepreneur.

Thank you Danny for taking the time to share your thoughts with Global Citizens.

What makes you happy?

It makes me happy to live a life of impact, influence and contribution.

I love when I witness and even cause a break through or a new possibility for someone.

Making a difference and being a cause in helping people live a powerfully fulfilling life makes me happy.

What makes you sad?

Not much.

I think the biggest thing that makes me sad is if i know I “sold out” on someone or I gave up on someone. Sometimes I realise that I could’ve made a real difference for someone but I backed off because I didn’t want to be pushy or if I was concerned about what they might have thought of me.

This makes me sad, knowing I could’ve made a difference but I didn’t because I was too concerned about myself.

What makes you proud?

I am proud of my life.

I am proud of the influence and the impact I am blessed to be able to make on other people’s lives.

What makes you wonder?

I wonder about the universe and the impact of consciousness.

I am fascinated by the underlying invisible laws that govern life.

I wonder how can I continue to make a difference in life.

What does it mean to be human?

I think being human means to appreciate and acknowledge the beauty in everything and everyone. Including the good, the bad and the ugly. And to embrace it all as perfect with courage and vulnerability.

Being human is to live out the life you are given to it’s highest potential. ┬áMy marker for that is the degree of impact you have had on others.

How much do other people’s opinions affect what you do?

When was the last time someone had an impact of your life?

How would you answer if you were asked?

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read Global Citizens.

Have a great day.
