i-have-been-rewarded-with-everything

My name is Rina Vecellio Mattia, I am 58 from Auronzodi Cadore in Belluno, Italy

This is me…

I split my time between Italy in winter where I work as a Yoga teacher and my husband works as a Ski instructor and in summer we spend our time in their dream house in Thailand.

What makes you happy?

My happiness depends on and it has always depended on the wellbeing of my family members.

It seems limiting but I have been rewarded with everything without wanting it or desiring it.

I took care of my father and mother, who have both passed away.

Besides that, what makes me really happy is studying and teaching Yoga and transforming the lives of my students as Yoga transformed mine.

What makes you sad?

Suffering, especially the suffering of animals because they are defenceless.

What makes you proud?

Having taken care of my parents till they died and now taking care of my father’s sister, who is 93 years old.

Doing it all together with my husband, who helps me in everything I do.

What makes you wonder?

The immensity and never-ending space in the Universe.

It makes me believe that there are other realities and other dimensions beside the space/time reality we are living in on our planet.

What does it mean to be human?

Being human means being aware that we are simply an expression of “All that it is”.

We are pure consciousness, pure love and that in hurting others we are hurting ourselves.

Who influences your happiness?

When was the last time you gave up your time to help someone in need?

How would you answer if you were asked?

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read This is me

Have a great day.
